In Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, we design our collections, select each fabric, create prototypes, and carry out UV-protection tests as well as quality control. This product is made in China, in the Shenzhen region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, tailoring – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

How should I care for it to maintain its quality?

Although it is resistant to chlorine and salt water, in order to prolong the durability of this product, we recommend rinsing it with clean water at the end of a day where it has been in contact with salt or chlorinated water.

If you wish to machine wash this product, we recommend that you follow the care instructions specified on this product sheet or on the label of your garment or accessory.

Is this product suitable for my skin type?

Ker Sun’s UV-protective clothing and accessories are designed to provide high-performance protection for all skin types, including the most sensitive.

Certified UPF 50+ and classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with current European standards, our products offer the highest level of textile protection against UVA and UVB radiation as defined by regulations.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Erreur de taille

On m’envoie un xs au lieu d’un L( plus de stock) essayé donc trop tard pour renvoyer. Peux à peine respirer dedans.. se déchirera sans doute au niveau de la fermeture éclair.

C’est un super maillot de bain que j’aurais aimé être totalement fait en France.
J’aimerais trouver une gamme de t-shirt manches longues tout simple en voile de coton pour ne pas avoir trop chaud pendant nos futurs étés caniculaires.

Mon dermatologue m’avait conseillé cette marque de vêtements de protection anti UV .
Je suis totalement satisfaite , vêtement esthétique et très protecteur.
Un petit bémol , les coussinets pour la poitrine ne restent pas en place et aucun moyen de les remettre en place ou les enlever !
Mais je recommande fortement cette marque Française.

La fermeture éclair étant devant, l'enfilage est une épreuve : je me tortille dans tous les sens pour passer les bras dans les ouvertures des manches, et plus encore pour faire remonter le maillot (qui s'est merveilleusement enroulé sur lui même à l'étape précédente) jusqu'à la nuque. Le retirer représente également un challenge puisqu'il n'y a aucune prise. Si la fermeture était positionnée dans le dos (comme un shorty de plongée) avec une longue sangle pour l'actionner, le problème serait résolu.

El tejido es de una calidad magnífica y me encanta no quemarme pese a no ponerme crema de sol.

Tuve complicaciones con la llegada del pedido (no por su culpa) y el servicio al cliente fue súper atento y resolutivo. Fue todo un placer gestionarlo con ellos, me lo pusieron todo muy fácil.

Lo recomiendo 100%.

Absolut angenehm zu tragen und durch den Reißverschluss auch leicht auszuziehen. Da ich einen größere Oberweite habe trage ich ein Bikini-Oberteil drunter 😉, auch das funktioniert prima und es zeichnet sich nicht ab! Fällt größengerecht aus und die Verarbeitung ist 1a.
