The patented moisture-wicking liner and integrated diaper system keeps baby's skin dry out of the water. Moisture is trapped in the inner liner and carried to the outside over a large area. The most important accidents are stopped and after the swimming session, the swim shorts are machine washable at 30 °.

This product is UPF 50+ certified.
UPF stands for "Ultraviolet Protection Factor". It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest anti-UV certification in Europe, according to European standard EN 13758-1. A UPF 50+-certified UV garment blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin against possible burns and lesions.
By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of UPF 5 or above. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods.

Ker Sun is above all a personal story. About ten years ago, Claudia, our co-founder, was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that forces her to be extremely careful with her sun protection.
