This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, garment making – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Un petit bémol : les extrémités des manches qui sont depliables se font par l'intermédiaire d'un double boutonnage qui est fastidieux..plutôt décourageant le déboutonnage, des solutions plus simples existaient sur les polos.

2ème chemise commandée, 2ème satisfaction !

Pour cette nouvelle chemise claire j'ai reçu des compliments de plusieurs personnes qui la trouvent magnifique. J'ai déjà la même chemise couleur bleue, et je dois dire que pour un long parcours de Golf, elle est extrêmement efficace. Je la recommande malgré un prix un peu élevé, mais largement justifié !

Chemise bien coupée, coloris bien assorti à mon pantalon de randonnée. Seul point à améliorer concerne l’extrémité repliée à l’intérieur de la manche qui ne tient pas en place sur un côté , surtout si vous avez une montre car il n’y a pas de bouton.

Chemise bien coupée et bien pensée dans sa conception, très agréable à porter.
Pas contre pas vraiment adapté à de la randonnée avec sac à dos, les bretelles de celui-ci abîment le tissus.

Parfait pour mes parcours de golf. Je me sens vraiment protégé. Fini les coups de soleil et kératose. La couverture est excellente, des poignets jusqu'au coup.

Vous avez raison de souligner cette différence de rendu : même si la chemise anti-UV Sequoia est bien conçue dans la même matière technique que le modèle bleu marine, il est possible que la couleur plus claire accentue visuellement les plis après lavage.
Dans tous les cas, pour préserver l’aspect lisse du tissu, nous recommandons de bien tendre la chemise en la faisant sécher à plat ou sur cintre juste après le lavage.

La chemise porte les marques d' attaches des bretelles de pantalon. Elles n'ont pas disparues après lavage manuel .La maille du tissus parait distendue.
