This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, garment making – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

And because your needs are not all the same, we have also developed a range of garments made in Portugal, using local fabrics that combine European craftsmanship and excellence.

Washing and care instructions

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Pleasant, lightweight material, the size is ideal for me as I always tie it around my neck in two knots. The color Nuage d'été is my favorite color anyway and I also got the matching arm sleeves. I find it elevates any outfit, though the scarf does get stuffy on really hot days. One peculiar thing I noticed is that the line marks from my laundry rack don't disappear, even after a machine wash and many hand-washes followed by hanging it with clothespins. But at least they're not noticeable the way I wear it.

Um eine Narbe am Hals im ersten Jahr vor UV Strahlen zu schützen, war ich auf der Suche nach einem stylischen Tuch, dass auch UV beständig ist. Dies habe ich bei Ker Sun gefunden! Ich liebe es und trage es jetzt wo die Sonne mehr und mehr rauskommt fast jeden Tag. Gerne noch mehr Tücher mit schönen Mustern drauf, die was her machen!

Bonjour, J’ai acheté 2 foulards afin de protéger une très grande cicatrice au cou suite à une lourde opération du cancer des ganglions et langue .
Je ne dois absolument pas exposer cette partie de mon corps.
Le fait que vous soyez une société française sur Annecy m’a donné confiance. Grosse déception déjà à la réception.

Je porte donc du coton.
Maintenant, pour le prix 35€ pièce.donc 70€ pour les 2.
Je regrette beaucoup mon achat car, j’ai 2 accessoires dans mon placard pour rien.
Je veux bien payer pour de la qualité mais, 70€ pour du chinois non

Pourquoi ne l ai je pas commandé plus tôt

Mon foulard ne me quitte plus ,subissant des allergies solaires visage et cou depuis quatre ans j aie trouvé ma solution avec ce foulard .Il est léger ,frais et confortable ,c est un bon moyen de me protéger le cou et décolleté sans me badigeonner sans cesse de crème sans grande efficacité .
