This product is made in China, in the Shanghai region, a cradle of textile expertise recognised worldwide. Dyeing, weaving, garment making – every step is carried out locally by our trusted partners, carefully selected for their know-how and the rigour of their production standards. This choice is deliberate: it allows us to combine outstanding quality, durability, and controlled pricing, without ever compromising your health.

For your safety, our UV-protective clothing is classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European Union. As such, it is subject to strict regulatory checks, ensuring reliable and lasting protection, as well as consistent quality.

Does the UPF 50+ protection ever wash out?

The UPF 50+ protection does not wash out.

Our sun protective expertise has allowed us to develop fabrics that filter UV rays mechanically. Thanks to the meticulous choice of textile fibers, their optimized density and our advanced weaving techniques, we guarantee a UPF 50+ protection, without added sunscreens, which persists throughout the life of the product, even after many washes.

To preserve the quality and durability of your product, we recommend that you follow care instructions carefully specified on this product sheet (see above) or on the label.

Do I need to apply sunscreen underneath my UPF 50+ clothing?

With Ker Sun sun protective clothing and accessories, there’s no need to apply sunscreen on covered areas.

However, for full protection, it’s important to apply sunscreen to any exposed skin. We recommend applying sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplying every two hours or after swimming, in accordance with the instructions for the product you’re using.

Ich bin so überzeugt von den KerSun, daß ich verschieden Bekleidungsstücke nachbestellt habe. Dazu gehört auch ein Schwimmshirt, UV-Shirt mit Reißverschluß, sowie Armlinge. Die Materialien haben gefühlt ein kühlende Wirkung beim Tragen. Das Schwimmshirt trocknet in ca. 5 Minuten.

Satisfait du produit acheté pour faire des sorties vélos de 2 à 3 heures, confortable, évacue la transpiration, ne tient pas chaud par cette chaleur, entretien facile à la machine, on verra dans le temps pour la résistance, design classique avec col c'est bien, vos mensurations taillent un peu grand, j'ai pris un L il m'aurait fallu un M, mais bon j'ai eu la flemme de le retourner pour échange, voilà !!!

Goed zittend maar wel wat warm shirt

Mooi shirt, prima pasvorm. Wel wat benauwd/zweterig bij warm zonnig weer (25 graden en warmer)

Fijn om te horen dat u tevreden bent over de pasvorm van het shirt! Wat betreft het warme gevoel bij temperaturen boven de 25 graden: onze anti-UV shirts zijn ontworpen om optimale bescherming te bieden bij zonblootstelling, en die hoge UV-bescherming (UPF50+) gaat inderdaad samen met een iets dichtere stof dan standaard zomerkleding.

We blijven voortdurend werken aan materialen die zowel bescherming als een goed ademend vermogen combineren en over het algemeen worden onze shirts dan ook niet als warm ervaren. Uw feedback helpt ons bij het verder ontwikkelen, dank daarvoor!

Agréable à porter à condition qu'il ne fasse pas trop chaud

Bonne protection mais pas assez près du corp pour évacuer la transpiration et rafraîchir, donc par temps très chaud ne convient pas pour une activité physique. Par ailleurs le transporteur choisi est d'une efficacité très discutable.

Ich bin jeden Tag 7 Stunden auf dem Tennisplatz und brauche deshalb Kleidung, die vor UV-Strahlung schützt. Gleichzeitig soll die Kleidung gut aussehen und alle Bewegungen im Sport mitmachen.
